Description
ELEMENTS: EARTH, WATER, WIND AND FIRE is a collection of over sixty paintings by seven artists from Australia, Indonesia and Singapore. In vivid colours and textured canvases, the works depict the elements as the artists experience them in the environs they live in and have explored in their travels.

In the collection, you will see the ruggedness of country and hills, the movement of the ocean, the tranquil blue of lagoons, and the deep reds and oranges of fire in the earth. Each painting has its own vitality and story to tell.

Painting in oil and acrylic, the group captures the changing forms of nature and seasons; at times painting with bold intensity, and in other instances in subtle colours and textures. The total body artistic work at this exhibition evokes a communion with the elements and the physical world that enfolds all forms of life.
